ABOUT ME

I was born in Tehran, the capital of Iran and raised in a family from North of Iran close to Caspian sea. I believe my food passion comes from my mom who is an amazing cook and also from the city that is famous for it's fresh herbs, tea and rice farms, and seafoods. Moving out of the home country to Canada and now my new destination to Florida exposed me to a vast variety of cultures and the food that comes along with it.

I started my cooking style at age of 21 when I got married, learned the ways of traditional Mediterranean famous cuisine style and gradually I mixed it with international food. Tiring from daily job as an architect and work life, I found myself constantly finding a retreat in cooking. I started to write my recipes and teach as a chef in Loblaws cooking class for "What's For Dinner". Now I'm here to share my passion with you.

THE FOOD

I always try to cook with fresh seasonal produce. We mostly eat Persian meals everyday and you can expect to see that here more often. I stay away from processed food as much as possible and try to make whatever I can. I like to play with flavor, try different cuisines occasionally and interpret them to our taste.
